Alena Ori Baughan
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Learn More About Alena
Meet Alena Ori Baughan, DPT:
I was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and am a proud second-generation PT. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2014. I love studying movement and helping people optimize their bodies.
I have completed advanced training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) to hone my skills in spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, blood flow restriction and multiple strategies in assessment and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. My treatment style focuses on empowering patients in their care, tailoring my treatments to their goals and activities and communicating with their medical team. I believe that the hands-on evaluation and treatment is essential to facilitate the coordination of muscles, joints, and nerves.
My passion as a physical therapist is in problem-solving with my patients, working together as a team to get your body to achieve your unique goals. I’m here to help you figure out how to get your body to move in the way you need it to. It is my belief that no two bodies respond equally to the same treatment.
My Specialties:
-
- Orthopedics
- Sports Rehab
- Spinal Manipulation
- Soft Tissue and Myofascial release
- Dry Needling
- Geriatrics
- Neuro Rehab
My Awards:
- Best of Bigfork for Physical Therapy in 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025.
- Named 2nd Place Best Healthcare Worker in Bigfork in 2025
Outside of work, I’m happily married with two young children. I cherish slowing down to show my kids the everyday miracles and the incredible state they’re fortunate to call home.

Doctor of Physical Therapy
Learn More about Jennifer
Meet Jennifer Brann, DPT, FDNS
Jennifer grew up in Columbus, Montana and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance/Exercise Science with high honors from Montana State University before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2015. She began her career in Livingston before making her way to Kalispell in 2018 and has called the Flathead Valley home ever since.
Jennifer treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and is a Functional Dry Needling® Specialist (FDNS) through Evidence in Motion. She uses dry needling as one component of a bigger picture, integrating it alongside manual therapy and exercise to address the root cause of pain and dysfunction rather than just the symptoms.
With a background working in multidisciplinary settings, she believes in clear and open communication, both with her patients and with other providers involved in their treatment, making sure you feel empowered throughout your recovery. Whether you are a weekend warrior, working toward your next fitness goal, returning to work, or just trying to feel better in your daily life, she takes the time to listen to what matters to you, understand your goals, and works with you to help you achieve them.
Specialties:
- Orthopedics
- Dry Needling
- Soft Tissue and Myofascial Release
- Back and Neck Pain
- Headaches
- Sports Rehabilitation
- Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
- Balance and Fall Prevention
Outside of the clinic, life revolves around her two young children and an active lifestyle. She and her husband can be found biking, running, swimming, hiking, and lifting weights, or cheering their kids on at their activities. The family enjoys traveling together, often around race weekends!
